CLAWS is a modular software package that provides account and identity management functions in a heterogeneous computing environment. CLAWS consists of:

• The CAT central server
• A web administrative client
• A web self service client
• A PHP Client API
• Numerous modules including:
  • Identity database
  • History and attribute tracking database
  • Kerberos 5
  • Active Directory
  • LDAP
  • Samba Password
  • Secureid token management
  • DHCP OMAPI
  • Computer management

CLAWS is no longer available to download.

CLAWS communications are entirely SOAP over HTTPS. The CAT central server is an Apache Tomcat servlet.

CLAWS is released under the GNU General Public License and may be used and distributed in accordance with version 2 of that license.
