What is required to create one successfully?
- While no specific fields are required to create an identity, a minimum score is required. The minimum score is displayed at the top of the identity edit screen. You must supply combined attributes to equal, or surpass the minimum score. The more attributes, the higher the score, the better the identity.
How does the identity tied into the account?
- Identities are tied to accounts by the Username field in the identity. This field contains the list of accounts that belong to this identity.
How does an account remain tied to an identity?
- Accounts are tied to identities by the University ID field on the account. This account will be stored in LDAP after the go live date.
How are they checked to see if they are legit?
- They are not! It is up to the person adding the identity to ensure that it is "legit".
How do we get rid of them if they are wrong?
- Incorrect identities should not be removed, they should be corrected. Currently there is no way for users to delete identities. If an identity REALLY needs to be removed, because it is causing some sort of problem, a ticket should be logged.
