The New Account function presents you with a table of empty information. By entering information into the fields, and clicking CREATE you will add a group to the RIT databases. Required fields are marked with a red asterisk. At minimum, you must fill in required information.

When the fields are set to your liking, click the CREATE button to have AMS actually create the group. After creating the group you will see the modify form for the group, where you can make sure the group is to your liking and make changes if desired.

Contents

Group Name

The name of the group.

Description

A description of the group.

Forward

Optional forwarding address. If this is filled in, all email sent to this group will be forwarded here.

Exchange Mailing List

If you would like to set up a mailing list within exchange.
